Patricia Adams, M.Ed., LPC 
Pat Adams received her Master of Education degree in Counseling at the University of Missouri at St. Louis. She earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree at the University of Missouri at Columbia. With more than 15 years of experience, Pat was in private practice serving clients in Lincoln, Pike, St. Charles and Warren counties from her office at Troy Counseling Center. Prior to that she was doing in-home therapy with children and families for the Magdala Foundation throughout those same counties, including St. Louis. In
addition to her counseling she worked as a social worker for Catholic Services for Children and Youth, compiling home studies and post adoption placement for international adoptions throughout the St. Louis and St. Louis county areas. For three years Pat was the family therapist for both adults and adolescents in the chemical dependency unit of St. Clare’s Hospital in Alton, Il. Pat provides individual, family, group, marital psychotherapy and play therapy for children. She has conducted group therapy for non-offending parents and girls’ groups for sex abuse survivors promoting self-esteem.
